GPM-b™ | Application Process

Initial requirements	Prerequisites are not required for GPM-b™.
Education	GPM-b™ certification process does not have any specific education requirements.
Experience	GPM-b™ certification does not require any work experience. However, it is recommended to have at least six (6) months of experience in working on sustainable projects.
Validity	The certificate is valid for five (5) years.
Exam	Recognition of Prior Learning granted	The exam consists of 75 multiple choice questions to answer in 90 minutes. There are 60 questions on Sustainable Methods and 15 on Delivery Methods. Questions are based on ‘The GPM P5™ Standard for Sustainability in Project Management’ and ‘Sustainable Project Management: the GPM Reference Guide’.
	Recognition of Prior Learning not granted	The exam consists of 150 multiple-choice questions to answer in 180 minutes. There are 75 questions on Sustainable Methods and 75 on Delivery Methods. Questions are based on ‘The GPM P5™ Standard for Sustainability in Project Management’ and ‘Sustainable Project Management: the GPM Reference Guide’.
	Passing	At least 70% of the questions answered correctly to pass.
Case Study	No Case Study is required for initial certification at GPM-b™.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)	GPM will grant Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for any of the following credentials (current or expired): Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Project or Program Management from an accredited college or university Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Sustainability or Sustainable Development, with a concentration in Project or Program Management, from an accredited college or university Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Project or Program Management, from an accredited college or university Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in Engineering, with a concentration in Project or Program Management, from an accredited college or university AIPM certification, CPPM, CPSPM, or CPPD (current or expired) IPMA certification, Level A, B, C, or D (current or expired) PRINCE2 Practitioner (current or expired) PMI certification, PMP or PgMP (current or expired) For Agile, ONLY the following: AgilePM Practitioner or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) (current or expired) Other credentials with the advance, written approval of GPM’s Director of Certification
Cost	The cost of taking the GPM-b ™ certification exam is USD 299.
