Green Project Management Courses by Innovatel
Innovatel offers meticulously planned courses on sustainable project management, complete with GPM certification, catering to the evolving needs of professionals in the project management realm. These courses are designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to implement sustainable practices in their projects, emphasizing the importance of environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
The “Corso Green Project Management” is available in two formats to accommodate different experience levels. The first option is a two-day intensive course tailored for certified project managers, ensuring a focused and comprehensive exploration of sustainable project management principles. Scheduled for the 13th and 20th of March, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For those seeking a more extensive learning experience, Innovatel offers a three-day version of the “Corso Green Project Management” course. This option extends over the 13th, 20th, and 27th of March, following the same daily schedule as the two-day course.
Both courses will be conducted online, allowing participants to join from anywhere, removing geographical constraints, and facilitating broader participation.
Green Project Management Webinars

In collaboration with the Project Management Institute Community of Southern Italy (PMI-SIC), Innovatel has embarked on an enlightening “Green Project Management Journey”. This initiative is a comprehensive three-part series of one-hour evening webinars to guide the PMI-SIC Project Management community through Sustainable Project Management.
Green Project Management Journey is meticulously designed to offer an introductory path for the PMI-SIC Project Management community. Throughout these webinars, their aim to nurture a deeper understanding of Sustainable Project Management principles and guide participants on their journey to becoming adept Green Project Managers.
Webinar 1: “GREEN PROJECT MANAGEMENT: WHY, WHAT, HOW” – 20 March 2024
In the inaugural session, they will delve into the contextual landscape of Sustainable Project Management, addressing crucial questions such as the meaning of sustainability and its relevance for both business and people. They will explore why Project Management Professionals should embrace sustainability, what it means to be a Sustainable Project Manager, the essential skills required, and an overview of the Green Project Manager Certification.
Webinar 2: “GREEN PROJECT MANAGEMENT – STANDARD P5 & PRiSM Methodology” – 19 June 2024
The second episode will focus on a deeper exploration of the critical aspects of the P5 Standard (Product, Process, People, Planet, Prosperity) for Sustainable Project Management. We will address how the P5 Standard supports sustainable outcomes, its application in the project life cycle, and insights into the PRiSM (Projects integrating Sustainable Methods) methodology. Additionally, they will discuss the tools that Project Managers need to acquire, modify, and incorporate into project management practices.
Webinar 3: “GREEN PROJECT MANAGEMENT – CASE STUDY” – 9 October 2024
The third meeting will provide a hands-on application of the tools learned through a practical case study. Participants will gain insights into projects’ sustainable benefits, impacts, and outcomes. They will explore strategies for mitigating negative impacts and amplifying positive ones. The session will also cover the definition of Key Performance Indicators and metrics crucial for measuring the success of sustainable projects. Lastly, they will delve into the components of a “Sustainable Management Plan” and how to develop one effectively.
Participation in EFI Summit and PMI-NIC Webinars
Innovatel is contributing to the sustainability dialogue at the national level. They will participate in the Sustainability Panel at the Innovation Training EFI Summit, the national B2B event institutional for the sustainable development of the Training sector, organized by the non-profit association Ecosistema Formazione Italia (EFI) in Rome on 21-22 March 2024—more about the summit here.
They will also participate in two planned webinars with the PMI-Northern Italy Chapter (PMI-NIC), Italia’s largest project management organization, in May and October 2024. Innovate team looks forward to the collaborative exploration of sustainability in projects, making meaningful contributions to a more environmentally and socially responsible project management landscape.
Sustainability Event for Festival dello Sviluppo Sostenibile
Innovatel is also working on organizing their third edition of the event dedicated to sustainability for “Festival dello Sviluppo Sostenibile.” This festival, a cornerstone event in Italy, is organized by ASvIS, the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development, and features a myriad of initiatives to foster sustainable development across the country. Scheduled for May, the festival is a platform for engaging discussions, innovative projects, and collaborative efforts towards achieving sustainability goals. Through their participation, Innovate aims to contribute significantly to the dialogue on sustainability, to share insights, and to explore new strategies to address the pressing environmental, social, and economic challenges facing our world today.
